The lungs are mostly important organ to we live. The lungs are located behind the backbone and either side of the heart. The lungs are the primary organs of the respiratory system. The lungs have both lobes and segaments.

The lungs are conical in shape. The lungs are two right and left. Generally, the right lung is bigger than the left and weighs approximately 1.3 kilograms and the right is heavier than the left.

The lungs are covered by the pleura, it is a thin layer tissue. The lungs function is to take the oxygen from the environment and transfer it to the bloodstream and take carbon dioxide from the bloodstream or organs transfer it to the environment.

The lungs are usually effected by virus effects, tobacco use, air pollution, dust mites, some foods, contaminated infections etc. Nowadays, different types of lung cancers also we seen.

For the good health of the lungs, we can take some necessary actions and habits like don’t smoke, use some masks in air pollution areas, use mask in hospital area, do breathing exercises and yoga, take good healthy foods.
